Chinese Paintings Flowers and Plants Birds Marine Life Landscape

Anne Steinman blends traditional Oriental and modern Western techniques to create beautiful floral, animal, and landscape paintings on rice paper.  She uses Chinese and Japanese Watercolors and Sumi Ink.  Her paintings consist of both spontaneous and detail styles.  Sometimes she experiments with wet-into-wet techniques,  intentionally splatters paint and ink, or even paints on both sides of the paper to create interesting special effects.
