Come One Come All ...

October 4, 2003 -- Even art connoisseurs deserve a day at the fair. With this in mind, I will be at Topsfield Fair giving a demonstration in Chinese Brush Painting for art lovers of all levels. I will also be exhibiting and selling some of my artwork at Coolidge Hall, Topsfield Fair. So please stop by as you enjoy all the wonders of America’s oldest agricultural fair and have a festive time!

Spirit of the East - Chinese Painting Guild Members Show

The Chinese Painting Guild is a collective of artists, all former and present students of Qingxiong Ma, whose work blends the values and techniques of traditional Chinese brush painting with western expression and individuality. Ma Qingxiong has been teaching in Boston since 1991. He has had numerous exhibitions of his paintings in China (including an exhibition at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Beijing) and in the United States.

The Art and Nature of Chinese Brush Painting

North River Wildlife Sanctuary, Massachusetts Audubon Society

March 1-29, 2003 -- Students of Qingxiong Ma, from the South Shore Arts Center, will be displaying their work at the North River Wildlife Sanctuary. Focus will be on nature. Qingxiong Ma has been teaching in Boston since 1991. He has had numerous exhibitions of his paintings in China (including an exhibition at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Beijing) and in the United States.
